Project Background
The group headquarters has a large volume of data center equipment and brand-new unused materials that need to be centrally processed every year.
The client hoped to introduce a leading IT asset recycling company as a long-term strategic partner to carry out phased recycling of planned retired equipment and expired assets, establish a more stable and efficient asset retirement mechanism, and prevent scrapped equipment from accumulating over the long term and occupying warehousing and management resources.
Client Pain Points
With the continuous renewal of headquarters data center equipment and the ongoing increase of unused materials, the pressure of centralized disposal continued to rise.
On the one hand, a large volume of equipment and materials occupied warehouse space and increased daily management costs. On the other hand, the previous model of separately coordinating with recyclers was inefficient, with long recycling cycles and inconsistent execution standards, making it difficult to meet the group’s requirements for standardized management, continuous disposal, and overall efficiency.
What the client needed was a systematic solution covering long-term cooperation, phased recycling, value recovery, and compliant disposal.
Solution
In response to the client’s needs, we built a long-term and stable asset recycling service system around four dimensions: strategic cooperation, planned recycling, value enhancement, and security compliance.
Strategic Agreement
By signing an annual framework agreement, we became the group’s qualified strategic partner for IT asset recycling. The service scope covers multiple types of equipment and materials, supporting long-term, continuous, and large-scale asset disposal needs.
Planned Recycling
Based on the group’s equipment retirement and renewal plans, we implemented a service model featuring phased fulfillment, immediate collection upon expiration, bulk on-site pickup, and staggered removal. This helped reduce equipment backlog, lower warehousing and management pressure, and avoid disruption to the group’s normal operations.
Value Maximization
Differentiated disposal plans were developed for brand-new materials, in-use equipment, and obsolete equipment respectively:
High-value recycling for brand-new materials, graded reuse for reusable equipment, and environmentally responsible dismantling and disposal for obsolete equipment, maximizing the overall residual asset value while ensuring compliance.
The entire quotation and settlement process was open and transparent, supporting corporate process management.
Security and Compliance
For equipment involving data, confidentiality agreements and relevant national and industry standards were strictly followed. Data destruction, transfer registration, and process tracking mechanisms were implemented to ensure full-process traceability and meet the group’s internal audit and compliance requirements.
Client Message
“Our group has a large volume of data center equipment and brand-new idle materials that need to be centrally disposed of every year. In the past, we had long faced problems such as asset backlog, low disposal efficiency, and high management costs.
Since establishing strategic recycling cooperation with your company, as a leading recycling enterprise, you have been able to conduct phased on-site recycling strictly according to our retirement plan. The overall service has been professional and efficient, with standardized and transparent execution processes.
This has not only effectively relieved our asset backlog and warehousing pressure, but also helped us establish a more stable and orderly IT asset retirement mechanism. You are a professional partner worthy of long-term cooperation.”
