As a leading OTA enterprise in China, the client has continued to expand its business scale, with rapid organizational growth and increasingly frequent IT equipment updates.

With the continuous iteration of office equipment and server assets, a large number of retired assets needed to be disposed of in a standardized, regular, and centralized manner to meet the company’s operational efficiency and management requirements.

Client Pain Points

The client’s assets were widely distributed, involved complex equipment types, and had a high circulation frequency, making unified cross-regional management highly challenging.

At the same time, due to the special nature of its business scenarios, the equipment involved a large amount of user privacy information and sensitive data. The client had extremely high requirements for data destruction compliance, on-site execution standards, risk control capabilities, and full-process traceability.

What the client needed was not only a recycling service, but a complete asset disposal solution covering inventory, destruction, delivery, certification, and archiving.

Solution

Based on the standard asset recycling process, we further added key security and certification steps to ensure that the entire disposal process was transparent, standardized, and auditable.

On-Site Inventory

After arriving on site, the project team completed the verification of all equipment SN codes and the organization of asset information within 24 hours, forming a complete Asset Inventory List to ensure accurate and error-free handover in subsequent steps.

Physical Shredding

For storage media, mobile shredding equipment was used for on-site physical shredding, breaking hard drives into finer particles. Dual weighing verification before and after shredding was conducted to ensure no omissions and no residual risks.

Certified Delivery

For each server or key storage device, an official Data Destruction Certification Report was issued, while on-site video and image records were retained for the client’s audit, review, and long-term archiving.
